KFC / THIRD STREET

A proposed sibling for the famous KFC on Western Avenue, this project was an attempt to develop a sculptural form that would engage with people in their vehicles as they sped by along 3rd Street near Park La Brea in Los Angeles. The image of a broken egg would create a dramatic skylight by day and a powerful beacon by night as it manifested the proverbial question of “Which came first…?”
