HARMONY GOLD THEATER

This project was a proposal to update the famed Harmony Gold Preview Theater in Hollywood with a new entry and lobby space. In order to give the theater a greater presence along Sunset Boulevard, the design took advantage of an existing water feature at the corner of the site. A floating butterfly roof made of polished stainless steel would form both a new entry canopy and a giant waterfall that was to be dramatically illuminated at night.
